About me
I have been playing games for as long as I can remember. Growing up in the Yukon provided lots of opportunity for indoor gaming activities. My parents won every Parker Brothers board game printed when they appeared on a TV game show pilot so we had lots of selection. When I was twelve I discovered my father’s Basic D&D box hidden in the book shelf. Axis&Allies, Risk, Talisman, first edition Blood Bowl and Car Wars were a huge part of my late teens and early twenties. Lately I enjoy playing lighter ‘gateway’ games socially at local Meetup and Facebook Events.
As a Board Member of One More Meeple I run and co-host our weekly Wednesday night board game Meetup at Killarny Community Centre.
I work for a local school board as an Indigenous Support Worker and run board game, chess, and Anime clubs.
I have a carefully curated board game collection of about 100 games. I tend to sell games that I feel won't hit the table often and believe in quality over quantity.
I also moonlight as a children’s entertainer performing magic and twisting balloon animals on weekends. But no gigs for convention weekend!
Some of my favourite games: Leaf, Clank! (any and all versions), Cascadia, Wyrmspan, Dragonkeepers, Quest for El Dorado, Love Letter, Dune Imperium, Catan.
