Join us for a fun and competitive Teddies vs Monsters tournament at Terminal City Tabletop Convention! Players will team up in pairs to defend their kids as the courageous Teddies or cause mischief as Monsters. This fast-paced, easy-to-learn game guarantees excitement for players of all experience levels. The tournament format ensures a friendly yet competitive atmosphere, with warm-up and training sessions beforehand to help everyone get started. Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or new to tabletop games, we’d love to see you join in the fun!

Format: Each tournament will accommodate 16 teams (32 participants). Players can sign up in pairs or individually—if they register solo, we’ll pair them with another solo player.
Duration: Each tournament will last 3 hours. This includes 1 hour prior to the start for warm-ups and to teach participants how to play.
No Prior Experience Required: Teddies vs Monsters is an easy-to-learn game, and we’ll guide players through the rules during the warm-up hour before the tournament starts.

Ping... Crew a submarine in a real time battle of cat and mouse against another submarine sitting across the table from you... Ping... Take on the role of Captain, Radio Operator, First Mate or Engineer, hopefully working like a well oiled machine to sink your enemy... Ping... Pong...uh-oh! INCOMING!

Open to new players. Session will start with a full rules overview. This event is four tables of Captain Sonar playing side by side, not one huge chaos game...unless...no. No. Maybe next year... Games generally last 15-20 minutes. This event will allow players to play multiple games, trying multiple roles, or swap tables to challenge a whole different crew!

I'm a fan of night to medium board games, that clock in around the hour mark. However, my all time favourite is Inis, followed by Battlestar Galactica. I also enjoy roll'n'write, and abstract. Outside of Tabletop, I love drawing, writing, animation and relaxing with my kids.

Because it is such a short game, this event will include multiple games of toy battles!

On your turn in Toy Battle, you either draw two toy troops or place a troop on the board and apply its effect. When a place a troop, you can place it on an empty base, a base that you control, a base that the enemy controls with a lower-valued troop than the one you're placing, or the enemy's headquarters; however, in all cases you must place on a location that has a continuous path to your own headquarters through bases that you occupy, that is, that have your troop on top. If you occupy bases that form a continuous path around a region, you claim the medals within this region.

Dice Throne is the ultimate mixture of strategy and chance, smashing the best parts of MTG and Yahtzee together. Players will duel with unique heroes and attempt to roll a variety of sets and sequences of dice, using cards and tokens to help themselves or hinder their opponents. This event is open to new players, and will there be a rules overview ahead of the event start for attendees that might not be familiar with the game!
