Once every twenty years, an enchanted stone tower rises from the sea. After two hours pass, it sinks back into the deep — along with its treasures. The emerald of the tower's builder, a mad sorcerer, is said to be at its very peak, where it radiates an ominous green glow. Perhaps you will be the first to retrieve it?
Dragonbane is a classic fantasy tabletop roleplaying game full of magic, mystery, and adventure, from Sweden's Free League Publishing. It features fast and furious play, plenty of room for laughs at the table, and brutal challenges to be overcome by the adventurers.
The system is skill-based: no classes or levels. While it uses the familiar d20, you want to roll low rather than high! This adventure is made to be played in a time-limited tournament, complete with a scoring sheet to determine how well the group did. In this session, the tower will disappear after two hours have passed in the game world, rather than in real life.
