The game mechanics for this game include: Area majority, hand management, and set collection. BGG suggests 2 hours to play this game, I have added an hour for learning and slow easing into the first couple turns :)
Arcs is a sharp, tactical space opera game set in a dark yet silly universe. Players represent officials from a distant, decaying and neglectful Empire who are now free to vie for dominance whether through battle, gathering scarce resources or diplomatic intrigue.
This is one of the hottest games released last year. I've never played it, so I thought I'd take out the library copy and give it a try. I will read through the rules and/or watch a how-to-play video prior to our playthrough. If you are familiar with the game, you're welcome to teach it. If we're all beginners, we can figure it out together.
