Western Canada’s Largest Tabletop Gaming Convention! Join us March 14-16, 2025, at the Vancouver Convention Centre - East (aka Canada Place) in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
The time has come for the selection of a new Chancellor at Argent University of Magic, and you are among the likely candidates for the job. Gather your apprentices, ready your spellbook, and build your influence, while secretly discovering and competing over the votes of a limited Consortium of influential board members. Only the one who is able to fulfill the most criteria will claim the title of most influential mage in the World of Indines!
Argent: The Consortium is a cutthroat worker-placement/engine-building game of manipulation and secrecy in which the criteria for victory are secret and the capabilities of your opponents are constantly changing. You'll need to outwit the other candidates, use your spells at the right moment, and choose the correct apprentices to manage your plan.
Unfathomable is pretty much Battlestar Galactica 2nd ed, a semi co-op game where the players are working together to guide a cruise through the dangerous waters of the Atlantic. However, some players are secretly cultists and hybrids that are manipulating in the shadows to make the cruise sink.
I will be adding the expansion From the Abyss to it, which adds new cool enemies for the cultists and new allies for the Humans.
New players are welcome, but please try to watch a "Learn how to play" video for the base game so the rule explanation can be more an overview rather than a full explanation.
Game of Thrones: The Card Game is a two-player asymmetric card game, where you play as your favourite GOT house, drafting characters and revealing plots to win challenges, gain power and defeat your opponent, while trying to keep your characters alive for one more round.
We’ll be playing Joust, the two-player version, and Second Edition.
The game is played over a series of head-to-head rounds, where you’ll draft and recruit characters, reveal plot cards, and then attack and defend a series of challenges until one person is declared the victor. It’s a strategy-heavy game, where your resource economy is pretty low, so every choice you make can win or lose the game.
This session is open to all experience levels. If you’re a GOT master, amazing! If you’ve never played before, even better! The mechanics are pretty simple (it’s choosing what to do with your cards that’s the hard part), and if you’ve ever played an asymmetrical card game like Magic before, you’ll pick it up in no time.
GOT Card Game is also a LCG, so building your deck outside of gameplay is a big part of the fun once you’ve got the hang of it. So feel free to bring your own deck if you have one, or you can use one of our 8 pre-built house decks and give it a go.

The Emperor has received a gift of a panda, and tasked the gardener with cultivating a bamboo garden to display it. But while the bamboo grows in their carefully positioned plots, a surprisingly active panda is eating everything it can get its paws on. Manage plots, grow bamboo and eat that bamboo better than your opponents to earn the favour of the Emperor and take the victory.
I'm a fan of night to medium board games, that clock in around the hour mark. However, my all time favourite is Inis, followed by Battlestar Galactica. I also enjoy roll'n'write, and abstract. Outside of Tabletop, I love drawing, writing, animation and relaxing with my kids.
Come by and learn to play Altered, a new and unique trading card game set in the ever changing world of Asgartha. Players take control of 1 of 6 Factions and their Heros, and race to be the first to explore the ever changing landscape.
The Kennerspiel des Jahres winner of 2022 boasts an elegant and simple design where you compete with three other players to save the forest with the aid of guardian animals. By combining push your luck mechanics and deck building reminiscent of Mystic Vale, fulfill one of the three victory conditions first to win the game.
Travel the legendary East Sea Road of Japan, collect the most beautiful souvenirs, paint glorious vistas, enjoy enriching encounters, soak in soothing hot springs and more. Have a wonderful, fulfilling, relaxing journey, and do it better than the other pilgrims on the road to win!

The 1st one is VIVO: Puppies dream of joining the prestigious "VIVO Puppy Choir". You are a music school teacher who raises such puppies. Today is the day of the long-awaited entrance exam. In this year's entrance exam, puppies with "energetic, loud singing voices" and "small, cute singing voices" will be evaluated. VIVO is a trick-taking game where the follow format changes every trick!
The 2nd one is Ugly Christmas Sweaters: In Ugly Christmas Sweaters, players compete against each other through trick-taking and drafting to collect and assemble sweater pieces. Various gameplay cards (which are drawn at the start of each round) determine gameplay and bonus scoring. The end of a round is triggered when a player completes three sweater builds. At the end of each round, victory points are awarded based on sweaters built and bonus scoring (points for sweaters following round-specific goals and hidden objectives). Build your sweaters quickly!
I absolutely love playing board games, especially Euro games and trick-taking games! 🎲 I also enjoy D&D and Cthulhu, but finding a good DM has been tricky—especially since I’ve only been in this country for 2.5 years. If you’re up for board gaming or open to letting me join... Read More →
Run a Portuguese winery and present your wine to the elites at the annual wine festival. This is a relatively abstract medium-complexity euro game. It is recommended that you have some experience with euro games or other games by Vital Lacerda.
In John Company, players assume the roles of ambitious families attempting to use the British East India Company for personal gain. The game begins in the early eighteenth-century, when the Company has a weak foothold on the subcontinent. Over the course of the game, the Company might grow into the most powerful and insidious corporation in the world or collapse under the weight of its own ambition.
John Company is a game about state-sponsored trade monopoly. Unlike most economic games players often do not control their own firms. Instead, they will collectively guide the Company by securing positions of power, attempting to steer the Company’s fate in ways that benefit their own interests. However, the Company is an unwieldy thing. It is difficult to do anything alone, and players will often need to negotiate with one another. In John Company, most everything is up for negotiation.
A 4 player, worker placement game by Lacerda. Go between the surface and orbit of Mars and try and build a sustainable habitat so that the earth no longer needs to send supplies to make Mars livable for all. Win by getting the most points.
Come play some Japanese trick-taking games! Options include Yokai Septet, Nokosu Dice, Schadenfreude. There will be two tables, hosted by myself and Yann G
End your con on a high note with a fun and rowdy party game that's simple to learn, but luck-of-the-draw to master. The OP games' sleeper agent of the year (in my humble opinion) will have you hitting or passing cards, blackjack-style in hopes of flipping 7 before you bust and lose everything.
