One of your party has received an urgent request: the location of the Argent Seal has been discovered by dustbringer agents and this artifact needs to be destroyed before it can be used to bring about the return of the Dust Lords.
Cairn is a simple d20 'roll under' game system. You will create a character at the table, but don't get too attached, as death dwells around every corner. The setting is a low magic world where your character's wits, wiles, and cunning will have as much impact on the outcome as strength of arm, magical prowess, and rolls of the dice.
Set in the magical city of Magerock in my own world, people are going missing but returning within a week with no memory of where they went or the fact that they went missing at all. Recently one of these people was a power wizard that keeps control of the city's shield which allows them to control the city's weather and uses divination magic to detect who or what comes in and out of the city and where they are. But the shield has not been tracking where the people that goes missing are, only a powerful arcane force could cause this type of interruption. It is your job to find out what is going on and stop it in this high fantasy adventure.
