Terminal City Tabletop Convention 2025

Thaumaturgy is a fantasy game about arcane scholars in our modern world. You play as a Spellcaster who splits your days between studies at the Academy and questing in the three realms. Prepared with arcane spellcraft, you’ll confront mystery and monsters in defiance of your destiny and the will of powerful patrons. This is all in the pursuit of ascension — using magic to defy your fate.

Although you begin against the backdrop of people disappearing in unseasonal fogs in the city of Toronto, you are quicky confronted with the fantastic during a brunch event at Casa Loma. During the castle tour, you discover a portal to another world — hidden within an intricately engraved antique study closet cupboard. When it whisks you off to a fantastic village, you’ll need to cram enough spellcraft to deal with suspicious villagers, a powerful priestess, and repair the broken study closet before the visiting army descend on the witch’s cottage.

Pursue a fearsome creature through the remote countryside, as you try to put an end to its reign of terror and cash in on a life-changing bounty!

Work together to uncover clues about the beast’s whereabouts; track it through dense forests and treacherous terrain, and confront it in its underground lair. The hunt will test your combat prowess, resilience, and quick thinking as you work towards trapping the creature. Be on guard, for you may not be the only party looking to complete the bounty...
