Terminal City Tabletop Convention 2025

Waterdeep, the City of Splendors – the most resplendent jewel in the Forgotten Realms, and a den of political intrigue and shady back-alley dealings. In this game, the players are powerful lords vying for control of this great city. Its treasures and resources are ripe for the taking, and that which cannot be gained through trickery and negotiation must be taken by force!

In Lords of Waterdeep, a strategy board game for 2-5 players, you take on the role of one of the masked Lords of Waterdeep, secret rulers of the city. Through your agents, you recruit adventurers to go on quests on your behalf, earning rewards and increasing your influence over the city. Expand the city by purchasing new buildings that open up new actions on the board, and hinder – or help – the other lords by playing Intrigue cards to enact your carefully laid plans.

During the course of play, you may gain points or resources through completing quests, constructing buildings, playing intrigue cards or having other players utilize the buildings you have constructed. At the end of 8 rounds of play, the player who has accrued the most points wins the game.

Catan National Qualifier Tournament

We are excited to once again host a Catan Canada National Qualifying Tournament on Saturday, March 15 at TCTC 2025.
The Qualifier will see players compete in preliminary games with the top 16 advancing to the semi-finals. The 4 semi-final winners advance to the finals where one game is played to determine the winner.

How do I register?
You must purchase a ticket for TCTC 2023 (either Full Weekend or Saturday-Only). Click here to purchase your ticket.
Once you have your ticket, you’ll get added to our Sched. Once your Sched account is active, you can sign up for the Qualifier.

• Playoffs .Game 1 at 10 am, Game 2 at 11:30am, Game 3 at 1 pm.
• Semifinal Game. Top 16 players from Playoffs. Game at 3pm.
• Finals. Top 4 players from Semifinal. Game at 4:30pm.

If you are still waitlisted, please show up at the event start time. If there are no-shows you can fill their spot.

Eligibility: All participants must be Canadian Citizens/Permanent Residents and be 18+ years of age by the date of CATAN Nationals. Winners of 2022-2023 season Qualifier Tournaments are not allowed to play in additional Qualifier events leading up to the 2023 National Championship. Eons ago, under the leadership of the Bugbear Warlord Korrax Steelshank, the Horde ruled unchallenged. All trembled before the ferocity of the host he drove ceaselessly forwards. When he was cruelly slain by the feeble adventurers of the Realm, the Goblins fell to infighting, and splintered into warring factions.

Now, a vision has come in the night to the shaman of your tribe; the spirit of Korrax is rising! All able bodied Goblins have been called to take up arms, reunite the scattered tribes, and reclaim the glory of The Horde!!

In this Shadowdark Gauntlet, you will play the role of Level 0 Goblin minions, answering the call of their ancient hero. Your journey will lead you through treacherous wilderness; where you will be punished by the elements, ford dangerous rivers, fight off terrifying and deadly monsters, and make your way through a hostile village. Can you answer the call of the Horde, and bathe in the blood of your enemies? Or will you merely be yet another dead minion, nameless amongst the corpses?

The Gauntlet is a deadly adventure, where each player will have their choice of Goblin minion to play. If a PC dies, they can replace them from a pool of pre-generated characters. While death is likely, the odds are not insurmountable, and smart play is rewarded.

Kora Flyn and her Dancing Devils are the rising stars of Neon City’s dangerous street races. They were Colony-Warriors, but they revolted and claimed the streets for their own.
