Buckner was thrown with such force he cleared the porch roof on the way to the lawn. It doesn’t matter. Some ore, some drills, some heavy machinery maybe. What matters? The deadline, the paycheck, and your livelihood that’s on the line.

Some bonds can't be broken. Forged in mud, under enemy fire, the heart pounding, home just a memory, sharing misery and the frenzy of combat - bonds forged by spilt blood, and stronger than blood. You were a unit of soldiers in Afghanistan then a unit of mercenaries in Central America. You fought men, and the dark creatures that control them. After a decade, with money in the bank, the unit disbanded - each of you trying to go home. Maybe once you've seen behind the curtain, you can never go home. It's only been a few weeks when the Lt sends you a message, simply "Help". On greyhounds and amtrak, you're rolling into town to do whatever it takes to defeat whoever, or whatever, has him up against the wall.

This adventure is one of investigation, discovery and drama, and would best suit players looking for a hard hitting, plot driven, game session (i.e. more SVU/Criminal Intent than Action/Adventure).

For many years you have lived with your beautiful and wonderful witch who was your entire world. And then disaster struck!

Just last night,she was brutally murdered; however she had prophesied her own death and told her wonderful familiar animals that if they track down the murderer and bring their eyeballs back to her corpse before the Full Moon she would be restored to life!

Finding the witch-hunter and killing them would be tricky for anyone, after all witch-hunters are trained and dangerous, however they are much harder to defeat when you only weigh between a few ounces and a few pounds and lack opposable thumbs.

But it is up to you to make them pay for what they've done otherwise your beautiful witch will be lost forever!

Welcome to the Wildsea, a post-apocalyptic weird fantasy game where the known world has been supplanted and overtaken by massive, mountain-dwarfing trees, and a verdant overgrowth that has drunk the oceans, mutated the wildlife and buried the great cities of old deep beneath the iron roots. Danger and monstrosities lurk in this weird world, but so do great miracles, discoveries, and lost treasure...

Become part of an eclectic crew of driftwood-golems, ancestor-haunted humans, colonies of spiders in mummified shells, or cactus-faced brutes, taking to the waves on metal chainsaw-prowed ships powered by bees--or maybe racing on sineweing underscales, its engine a rope golem pulling strands beneath a giant insect carapace hull? It's all up to the players!

In this one-shot module, we will spend time as a Wildship crew docked at Nuskaro, the City of Closed Doors. Fiasco is a game of powerful ambition and poor impulse control. During a game you engineer and play out stupid, disastrous situations. Monty Python’s Cocurricular Mediaeval Reenactment Programme is a rigorous course of study intended only for serious students of English History. It is by no means a game for running imaginative, highly unpredictable, Mediaeval-themed role-playing based upon the complete comedic output of Monty Python.

Though the Programme is set in Mediaeval England, it draws upon Monty Python’s entire catalogue to render up an interactive world full of their unique characters, creations, and sensibilities. Participants need not be familiar with Monty Python’s work in order to participate, nor is role-playing game experience required. (The latter would be entirely useless, as this is emphatically not a role-playing game, and if you do have extensive experience with such things, you are likely too silly a person to participate in this Programme and should stop reading immediately.)

Players will get to choose to play characters from a low, low class Churl, to a upper, upper class Noble, with a smattering of Minstrels, Druids, and Sorcerers in between. Why are these two dramatically different classes of people together? Shut up, that’s why.

The “game” itself is more a story game than a dungeon crawler. And by no means are you encouraged to be funny at all. In fact, you will be punished for trying to be funny. This is a serious historical programme.

Traders along the Old Eastern Road have been disappearing near the borderland town of Ashmoor. With resources spread thin around the Empire, groups of seasoned Crawlers have been hired to take care of domestic problems. You are one such group.

You must journey to the farthest reach of the Empire to uncover the whereabouts of the missing traders; you must investigate the town for information, delve deep into ancient tombs & ruins to reclaim the lost relics and esoteric knowledge that will aid you in your quest. Will you be able to save the souls of Ashmoor, or will you yourselves be damned to serve in Abyssal torment?

This is an adventure for 4-5 Level 5 PCs. Shadowdark is a game with modern mechanics and an old-school feel, with inherent danger, split-second decisions and fast combat, so PC death is possible, but smart play is rewarded. The answers are in your mind, not on your character sheet. Distances are abstracted, with combat taking place in the theatre of the mind using some visual aids such as room sketches where required. The game will have some elements of body horror. You will pick a level 5 PC at the beginning of the session, and I will have a number of backup characters to pick from if your PC should meet an untimely end. Journey with me, my friends, and brave the depths and horrors of the Shadowdark!!

The Quiet Year — The Map is Not The Country FULL

The Quiet Year is a collaborative story-telling game by a local trans author - we take turns pulling prompt cards from a deck and drawing/updating our shared map. We all share ownership of a post-collapse settlement struggling for stability, and the leaders of the community (shared characters held loosely). We determine the threats (internal and external), and the projects to secure resources to survive. The seasons pass and resources and threats wax and wane; sometime during the winter the Frost Shepherds will arrive, ending the game and threatening all we've built.

Pensive tone - a game with a big heart. No DM, collaborative and equal.
No prescribed setting beyond the post-collapse small settlement - we choose genre and setting, major landscape features.
Tends towards a serious tone with themes of want/scarcity/threat - we play to explore themes of community under pressure.
Easily understood rules we'll read together.

Safety tools: lines and veils, x card, pause/rewind. Serious themes means we have to be more kind and gentle with each other.
